Ambrosia™ is a fresh, crisp and naturally juicy apple, designed to delight every palate.

Its rich and harmonious aromatic profile makes it ideal for enjoying fresh or as a versatile ingredient in everyday recipes.

The exclusivity of a unique variety

This Canadian-bred variety represents one of the Group’s flagship products. Discovered in the early 2000s, it entered production in 2006 and has been marketed since 2008.

Rivoira holds exclusive rights until 2036 for the cultivation and distribution of Ambrosia™ in Europe, Russia, India, North Africa and the Middle East.

In 2013, the ViP consortium joined the project. Today, 416 hectares are cultivated in Piedmont, with a further 247 hectares under sublicence in Val Venosta.

Production in Val Venosta has made it possible to broaden the offering, extend the marketing season by two months —through May—, and optimise distribution to Central, Eastern and Northern Europe, reducing logistics time and costs.

Ambrosia™ is a bi-coloured apple with crisp, juicy flesh and a distinctly sweet, aromatic taste, enhanced by delicate notes of honey and nectar.

Its exceptional crunch and unmistakable flavour profile have quickly won over consumers worldwide, making Ambrosia™ synonymous with quality and loyalty.

With sugar levels above average —Brix values can reach 17°— and very low acidity, Ambrosia™ fully expresses its signature aroma.

Beyond its delightful taste, this variety is a natural source of wellbeing: rich in polyphenols, flavonoids, fibre and essential nutrients, it is an ideal choice for those seeking a healthy and balanced diet.
